AFC, BFF to launch football training, tournament for Rohingya refugee children

As part of their Corporate Responsibility Programme, Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) will launch football training and tournaments for Rohingya refugee children in Cox’s Bazar’s camps from June, 2019. The first phase of this programme, in association with Coaches Across Continents (CAC) and UNHCR, was held in Cox’s Bazar refugee camps from December 5 to 10 in the previous year. AFC official Brian Suskiewiez will arrive in Dhaka on March 23 at 1am to scrutinize the results of the first phase and to plan the second phase of the CSR programme. He will be in Cox’s Bazar from March 20 to 23. The official will work with UNHRC personnel in the camp. Suskiewiez will leave Bangladesh on March 26.
