BFF Postpones ‘BFF Elective Congress’2020’ Due to Coronavirus Outbreak

Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) postponed the BFF Elective Congress’2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic outbreak throughout the country. 

The decision was made yesterday in an emergency meeting of BFF executive committee, chaired by its President Kazi Md Salahuddin. 
BFF elections was scheduled to be held on April 20 while the schedule for the election was expected to be announced on April 3. 
The statements about the postponements of elections: “Due to the World Health Organization (WHO) declaring the COVID-19 outbreak a pandemic, and the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh imposing a nationwide lockdown from 26th March to 4th April 2020 to curb the spread of the novel corona virus, any kind of public gathering is banned now-a-days at Bangladesh.

Executive Committee of Bangladesh Football Federation has decided to postpone the ‘BFF Elective Congress 2020’ of 20 April 2020 unless the situation becomes normal and the same will be communicated with FIFA and AFC for their ratification.
