Bashndhara Kings Won the WFL 2020-21 Championship title!


"Bangladesh Women's Football League 2020-21” Results of today's second round match:

Today's match of the second phase of” Bangladesh Women's Football League 2020-21" was held between Nasreen Sports Academy and Bashundhara Kings at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepahi Mostafa Kamal Stadium at 12.00 pm. In that match, Bashundhara Kings defeated Nasreen Sports Academy and achieved the honor of being the champion in 2021. Ataur Rahman Bhuiyan College Sporting Club became the runners-up in the league. Bashundhara Kings player Krishna Rani Sarkar won the highest goal scorer award with 28 goals in the league. Sohagi Kishu of Ataur Rahman Bhuiyan College Sporting Club won the award for the best player of the league.

Mr. Md. Ataur Rahman Bhuiyan (Manik), Vice President of Bangladesh Football Federation handed over the champion trophy, medal and cheque of Tk. 3 lakhs to the champion team Bashundhara Kings. Runners up team received trophy, medal and cheque of Tk. 2 lakhs. The cheque was handed over by Miss Mahfuza Akter Kiran, Chairman of the Committee for Women's Football of the Bangladesh Football Federation and an executive member of FIFA and AFC.
At the award ceremony BFF Executive Committee members Mr. Elias Hossain, Mr. Zakir Hossain Chowdhury, Mr. Tipu Sultan, Mr. Mahidur Rahman Miraj, BFF Committee for Women's Football member Nasrin Akhtar Baby, Ayesha Zaman Khuki and BFF General Secretary Mr. Abu Nayeem Shohag were also present.
