U23 reach Palestine

Bethlehem, July 17: The Bangladesh national U23 team has reached Palestinian city of Bethlehem safely where they will participate in the AFC U23 Championship qualifiers.

The team landed in Jordanian capital Amman after leaving Qatar capital Doha, and from there the team took a long bus journey to Bethlehem passing through the Allenby checkpoint of Israel.

After reaching Bethlehem, all the players and staffs boarded Al Jacir Palace where they freshened up went for a nap before their first training session in Palestine later in the day.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Ibrahim had joined the team at Amman as the replacement for injured Jewel Rana.

Bangladesh will lock horns against Jordan in their first match of the qualifier tournament on July 19, 2017.
