On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Bangladesh Independence, the 'Swadhin Bangla Football Team' was given a reception by the Bangladesh Football Federation at 12.30 pm today in the conference room of the Federation building in Motijheel.

Hon'ble Minister of State for Youth and Sports Md. Zahid Ahsan Russell, MP were present as the Chief Guest at the reception programme. Md. Akhter Hossain, Hon'ble Senior Secretary, Ministry of Youth and Sports and Mr. Parimal Singh, Secretary (Joint-Secretary), National Vrira Parishad were present as special guests. Also present was the Honorable President of Bangladesh Football Federation Kazi Md. Salahuddin, Vice Presiden Md. Ataur Rahman Bhuiyan (Manik), Vice President Mohiuddin Ahmed Mohi, General Secretary Md. Abu Nayeem Shohag and other members of the Executive Committee.

Swadhin Bangla football team manager Tanvir Mazharul Islam Tanna, team captain Md. Zakaria Pintu and a total of 18th players of the team were present at the reception programme.
