The 3rd regular meeting of the National Teams Committee of the Bangladesh Football Federation was held today, Monday, March 8, 2021 at 3:00 pm in the Board Room, 2nd Floor of BFF Head office, Motijheel. Chairman of the committee Kazi Nabil Ahmed-MP presided over the meeting. It was unanimously decided at the meeting that BFF will send a letter againg to AFC to get the permission of hosting the matches of FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar (Qualifiers)" and "AFC Asian Cup China 2023, Qualifiers Preliminary Joint Qualification Round-2" between Bangladesh and Afghanistan. If the match is not held in March 2021, the team will participate in the tri-national football tournament to be held in Nepal from March 23 to 29, 2021.

The preliminary list of Bangladesh's national football team for participation in the mentioned matches or football competitions will be announced by BFF at a press conference tomorrow at 3.00 pm. The press conference will be attended by the head coach and assistant coach of the national team and members of the National Teams Committee.
