The 1st Regular Meeting of the Sub-Committee on 'Third Division Football League 2019-20' was held
The 1st Regular Meeting of the Sub-Committee on 'Third Division Football League 2019-20' under the Dhaka Metropolitan Football League Committee of the Bangladesh Football Federation was scheduled to be held today 12-01-2021 at 3:30 pm in the 2nd floor meeting room of the Dhaka Metropolitan Football League Committee at Bangabandhu National Stadium. The meeting was adjourned due to the death of a relative of the chairman of the committee and BFF vice-president Mr. Md. Imrul Hasan.
The country's top league 'Bangladesh Premier League 2020-21' with the participation of 13 top football teams of the country under the management of Bangladesh Football Federation will set to start at Bangabandhu National Stadium, Dhaka, Shaheed Ahsan Ullah Master Stadium, Gazipur, FLT. For this reason, the BFF Disciplinary Committee player Mr. Touhidul Islam Sabuj has been fined Tk. 50,000/- (fifty thousand) and banned for the next two matches on behalf of his team.
An online meeting of the BFF Player Status Committee was held again on 11 January 2021 on the late completion of the transfer process by Brothers Union Ltd. After a detailed discussion at the BFF Executive Committee meeting on the issue, taking consideration on Brothers Union Ltd.'s long heritage and the regular participation in all competitions organized by BFF, the BFF Player Status Committee submitted its views on participation in the upcoming Premier League 2020-21. The BFF Player Status Committee reviewed all of the following issues and decided to allow Brothers Union Ltd. to participate in the upcoming Premier League 2020-21.
