Meeting to build 'technical center' held

A committee formed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to inspect the construction of an international standard 'Technical Center' in Cox's Bazar with FIFA funding visited Sabarang Union in Teknaf Upazila of Cox's Bazar and Khunia Palang of Ramu Upazila on 12-4-2022. The visit was attended by Mr. KM Ali Reza, Joint Secretary (Development-Sports), Ministry of Youth and Sports, Mr. Muhammad Sarwar Jahan, Director (P&D), National Sports Council, Mr. Md. Abul Kalam, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Land, Environment, Forests and Climate Change. Deputy Secretary of the Ministry Mr. Md. Barat Hossain, Member of the Executive Committee of Bangladesh Football Federation Mr. Bijan Barua, General Secretary of BFF Mr. Md. Abu Nayeem Shohag.

After the inspection committee's inspection, a meeting was held at the Cox's Bazar Deputy Commissioner's office. Cox's Bazar Deputy Commissioner Mr. Mamunur Rashid said that it was necessary to build a 'technical center' in Cox's Bazar district for the development of football in the country.

The inspection committee will soon submit the report of the inspection of Sabarang Union of Teknaf Upazila of Cox's Bazar and Khuniapalang of Ramu Upazila to the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
