The official announcement of the 'Women's Franchise Football League' under the supervision of K-Sports and the management of Bangladesh Football Federation was held on 13-03-2023 at 3.00 pm at the Grand Ballroom of Hotel La Meridien.

Honorable president of Bangladesh Football Federation Kazi Md. Salahuddin, AFC and BFF executive committee member and Chairperson of Committee for Women's Football Mahfuza Akhter Kiron, BFF members respectively - Mr. Tipu Sultan, Mr. Satyajit Das Rupu, Mr. Imtiaz Hamid (Shobuj), Mr. Md. Amer Khan, Mr. Mohidur Rahman Miraj, CEO of K-Sports Mr. Fahad Karim and BFF General Secretary Mr. Md. Abu Nayeem Shohag were present at the official announcement ceremony of the league.

Besides, members of the BFF Committee for Women's Football, Presidents of various District Football Associations, Officials of participating clubs of 'Bangladesh Premier League 2022-23', 'Bangladesh Championship League 2022-23', 'First Division Football League', 'Second Division Football League', 'Third Division Football League' and 'Pioneer Football League' were present as well.
