Hon'ble Prime Minister of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina has given a reception to the Bangladesh National Football Team and Bangladesh U-19 Women's National Football Team

On the occasion of the hundredth birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman,
“Mujib Borsho International Football Series 2020: Bangladesh Vs Nepal'' was held on his gratitude. Bangladesh National Football Team became the Champion of that series and Bangladesh U-19 Women's National Football team brought the glory of Championship in the SAFF U-19 Women's Championship 2021 held in Dhaka. Hon'ble Prime Minister of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina has given a reception to the Bangladesh National Football Team and Bangladesh U-19 Women's National Football Team at the Prime Minister's Office today 19-06-2022 at 11.00 am.

At the felicitation ceremony, the Prime Minister awarded 5.00 (five) lakhs taka to each player of both the teams and 2.00 (two) lakhs taka to each of the team officials.

Hon'ble State Minister for Youth and Sports of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Mr. Md. Zahid Ahsan Russell, MP, Honorable President of Bangladesh Football Federation and South Asian Football Federation Kazi Md. Salahuddin, Hon'ble Chief Secretary to the Prime Minister, Ahmed Kaikaus, BFF Senior Vice President Mr. Abdus Salam Murshedy, MP, Vice President Mr. Kazi Nabil Ahmed, MP, Vice President Mr. Md. Ataur Rahman Bhuiyan (Manik), FIFA Council Member, AFC Executive Member, BFF Executive Committee Member and Chairman of BFF Women's Football Committee Mahfuza Akter Kiron, BFF General Secretary Mr. Md. Abu Nayeem Shohag and Additional Secretary to the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Sports-1) Mr. Nazrul Islam was present at the reception ceremony.
