The second emergency meeting of the sub-committee on Bangladesh Premier League 2020-2021 under BFF Professional League Management Committee was held on 18 April 2021 at 11.30 am through video conference. The meeting was attended by Mr. Md. Abdus Salam Murshedy, Chairman of BFF Professional League Committee, MP, Mr. Md. Abdur Rahim, Deputy Chairman of BFF, Mr. Md. Abu Nayeem Shohag, General Secretary of BFF and all the members of participating clubs in Bangladesh Premier League 2020-21.

The members present their opinion at the meeting to observe on the impending decision of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh about lock down due to the Covid-19 situation and to coordinate with various international sports, the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League 2020-2021 game need to start as soon as possible.

The meeting discussed the upcoming decision of the government regarding the lockdown and coordinating with the AFC Cup 2021 and World Cup qualifiers, a draft fixture of the Bangladesh Premier League 2020-2021 will be sent to the participating club football teams for their views soon and It was decided to hold an emergency meeting within two or three days.
