BD U23 lose 3-0 to Qatar
Doha, July 14: The Bangladesh national U23 team lost 3-0 to an organized Qatar Olympic side at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium on Thursday evening in Doha, Qatar.
The Qatar side scored an early goal and managed to put pressure on the visitors.
Then a few minutes before the break, they got a second goal.
However, the Red and Greens were far from getting demoralized with a 2-0 deficit at the break.
They came back stronger in the second half and tested the Qatar side’s steel.
The hosts only managed to score one goal in the second half where Bangladesh also managed to create some chances of their own.
Overall it was a good experience for the team.
The crowd was amazing which boosted the confidence of the players a lot for their upcoming AFC U23 Championship qualifiers.
The team will now set off for Palestine to take part in the tournament.
