Bangladesh National Womens' team prepares for friendly matches
Under FIFA Tier One, Bangladesh national women's football team will play two friendly matches against Nepal on September 9 and 12 at 05:15 pm Bangladesh time at Dasharath Stadium. Bangladesh National Women's Football Team is currently staying at Aloft Hotel Kathmandu, Thamel.
Bangladesh Women's National Football Team and Nepal Women's National Football Team participated in the press conference at 12.15 pm (BD Time) today ahead of tomorrow's match.
The press conference was attended by the head coach of the Bangladesh women's national football team Golam Rabbani Chotan and team captain Sabina Khatun, the head coach of the Nepal women's football team Mr. Gary Phillips.
At the press conference, the head coach of the Bangladesh women's football team Mr. Golam Rabbani Choton said;
"The girls have been playing together for many years. They have also played together in age groups so now everyone has a very good relationship and understanding. I hope if the girls can give their best as a team then we will definitely get a good result in tomorrow's match."
Team captain Sabina Khatun said: "The result of our hard work over the last few months is that we want to present a good country with tomorrow's match in Nepal and hold our place in the next AFC Cup (qualifying round) in Uzbekistan. We pray for the countrymen."
Before the press conference, Head Coach Golam Rabbani Choton conducted Team Conditioning and Pool sessions with the players from 10:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Bangladesh time.
Later today at 05:30 pm Bangladesh time Bangladesh women's football team is scheduled to practice at tomorrow's match venue Dasharath Stadium but it is not suitable for rain and field practice in Nepal and at the request of Nepal Football Association Bangladesh team will refrain from practicing at match venue only for field visit. Will leave the hotel for the field at 04:45 pm.
All the players of Bangladesh women's national football team are healthy and all are fit for tomorrow's match.
The first match between Bangladesh and Nepal will be played at Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu, Nepal on September 9 at 05:15 pm Bangladesh time.
It is to be noted that both the matches are scheduled to be played on September 9 and 12 at 5:30 pm Nepal time (Bangladesh time 05:45) respectively but the Nepal Football Association has changed the time today to 05:00 pm Nepal time (Bangladesh time 05:15).
