Saif beat Muktis 2-0

Dhaka, December 7: After two successive draws Saif Sporting Club bounced back to the winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra in the BPL at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Thursday.

Mukitjoddha was unfortunate in the 32nd minute to see Nigerian forward Magalan Awal’s strike ruled out by the referee as the forward’s collided with the Saif custodian before putting the ball in.

Just a minute after the resumption William Sherirngham , the English forward put Saif ahead dribbling past two defenders (1-0).

Substitute forward Matin Miah produced an electric footwork in the added time to sneak through the Muktis defecne and add the second (2-0).

With 30 points from 15 matches Saif Sporting is positioned fourth in the table, Muktis have eight points from the same number of matches and is positioned 11th.
