Sabina lighting up Indian Women’s League

Dhaka, April 2: Sabina Khatun is displaying what she is made of in the ongoing Indian Women’s League 2018.

After a heavy defeat in the first match against KRYHPSA where Sabina came on as a substitute, the Bangladesh national team captain has picked up the baton of taking her team Sethu FC forward.

After opening the scoring in the 2-0 victory in their second match against Gokulam Kerala FC, the prolific forward again broke the deadlock in the third match against Rising Students club.

In a quick counter-attack, captain Indumathi threaded a through ball to Sabina on the right wing.

After controlling the ball, Sabina cut back inside beating two defenders and curved a left-footed curler into the far post net in the 47th minute.

Her teammate Manisha completed the2-goal victory on the 90th minute.

Sabina has two goals in three appearances while Krishna is yet to score despite her brilliant cameos whenever she was subbed in.
