Dhaka: The officials and the players of U19 women’s team have congratulated BFF women’s football committee chairman Mahfuza Akhter Kiron on her re-election to recently held AFC congress in Malaysia.
Kiron received a flowery reception and worm greetings from the officials and the players as she went to the residential camp at Matijheel BFF house in the capital.
The camp has been opened ahead of the Bangamata U19 Women’s International Gold Cup 2019.
Kiron, also a member of BFF executive committee, has been elected a member of the AFC executive member for the second consecutive term.
She has also been elected as a FIFA Council member for the second straight term in the election held during the AFC Congress in Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur on April 6.
