Colombian female football celebrities to visit BFF

Dhaka: Two famous female footballers of Colombia are expected to visit the BFF in order to share their experience with the female footballers here and also get acquainted with the footballing culture of Bangladesh. Jessica Hurtado, CEO and Founder of Opportunity Through Sports, and forward Katerin Fabiola Castro Munoz are expected to arrive in Dhaka on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 for a 3-day visit. The duo is coming to Bangladesh on the invitation of the BFF to create opportunities for the players here to get to meet international celebrities of women’s football so that they can gather some valuable experience and get inspired to pursue excellence in their own careers. After coming to Bangladesh, Jessica and Katerin will visit the BFF on April 11. There, they will be presented by the Federation with two BFF shirts followed by a media session. At the media session, they will discuss the purpose of their visit and their goals. Then on April 12, Jessica and Katerin will visit the newly established Fortis BFF Academy in Beraid where they will be joined by 25 female players of the Elite Women’s Residency Camp. There, the Colombians will have a fun time with the Bengal girls with some friendly football action, photo session and so on. The duo will also share tips and strategies and experiences from their own career to motivate the local players. Then on the next day, the two celebrities will join another programme at the artificial turf of the BFF House. As many as 100 female students from UNICEF schools will join the one and half hour-long session where they will spend some fun time with the foreign celebrities. There will be football, food and a whole lot of fun. After spending the morning with the UNICEF girls, Jessica and Katerin will leave Dhaka in the afternoon. The BFF is hopeful that their visit will have a positive impact on the arena of the country’s women’s football.
