BPL: BJMC, Ctg Abahoni draw 1-1

Bangladesh Premier League mid table contenders Chittagong Abahoni were held by Team BJMC, who are in the red zone now, as the match between them ended 1-1 draw. The match was held at Noakhali Shahid Bhulu Stadium on Tuesday afternoon. Abahoni boys started pressing the BJMC boys from the first moment of the match. However, they could not make it to scoring first. On the other hand, BJMC took the lead at the 45th minute of the match when their foreign recruit Samson took a shot from the midfield and the flying ball amazingly landed in the goalpost of Chittagong Abahoni. After that, Abahoni tried several times to take the ‘revenge’ and finally got the perfect chance at the 84th minute when striker Momodou headed the ball into the goalpost of BHMC from a crowd just in front of the post. However, the match did not affect the point table at all. Both the teams are standing their previous positions. Team BJMC is still at the last (13th) position with 5 points from 15 matches while Chittagong Abahoni at the 6th place with 18 points from the same number of matches.
