Biratnagar: Honourable Ambassador of Bangladesh to Nepal made a courtesy call on Bangladesh women’s national team, currently in Nepal, who are competing in the SAFF Women’s Championship 2019.
Councillor and Head of Chancery Mohammed Al Alamul Emam First Secretary Mahbubul Haque also accompanied the honourable Ambassador during her visit.
The trio made a surprise visit to Bangladesh’s team hotel in Biratnagar on Monday morning.
The officials of Bangladesh Embassy in Nepal were greeted with a warm reception by the Bangladesh players and team staff. Both parties exchanged gifts, flowers and well wishes afterwards.
The honourable Ambassador wished Bangladesh good luck for their semi-final clash against India slated for March 20.
