Bashundhara back on track beating Saif 2-0

Bangladesh Premier League champions Bashundhara Kings defeated Saif Sporting Club 2-0 at the latter’s home ground Rafique Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh. Thousands of football loving people, most of whom were Saif Sporting’s fans, gathered to enjoy the match which began at 4 pm this afternoon. The Kings got a lead in the match with Daniel’s scoring at the second additional minute of the first half. Though the hosts fought hard, they could not unlock the Kings’ gate to score a single goal. However, when everyone was thinking that the Bashundhara would win the match with the slightest margin, Daniel came up to rewrite the score line 2-0. With this victory, Bashundhara returned to their winning race as they lost one of their last two matches against Sheikh Russel and drew another one with Mohammedan. Now, the Kings have a total of 62 points from 23 matches while Saif are the fourth on the table with 44 points having played a match less.
