Dhaka: The theme video of the first ever Bangamata U19 Women’s International Gold Cup has been launched at an official ceremony at Motijheel BFF House in the capital on Monday.
The video launching ceremony was held at the BFF conference room at 12 pm this noon.
Organized by the BFF, the tournament will be held from April 22 to May 3 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium, Dhaka.
Six U19 women’s teams, including Bangladesh will compete in the tournament. Mongolia, Tajikistan and Laos were drawn into Group A whereas Bangladesh will compete against United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Kyrgyzstan in Group B.
Keeping the hospitality of the visiting teams in mind, tournament’s rights holders K-Sports signed a hospitality partnership agreement with Hotel InterContinental Dhaka at an official ceremony at 12:00pm on Sunday.
BFF vice president Mohiuddin Ahmed Mohi, member Amit Khan Shuvro, K-Sports CEO Fahad M A Karim, director Ashfaq Ahmed, executive director Muntasir Bhuiyan, COO Mahbubur Rashid, theme video director Gazi Shuvro and playback singer of the theme video renowned Rabindrasangeet singer Rezwana Chaudhury Bannya were present at the function.
