Bangamata Gold Cup final Friday

Dhaka: The first ever Bangamata U19 Women’s International Gold Cup 2019, organized by the BFF, is being held from April 22 to May 3 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium, Dhaka. Six U19 women’s teams, including Bangladesh are competing in the tournament. Mongolia, Tajikistan and Laos were drawn into Group A whereas Bangladesh played against United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Kyrgyzstan in Group B. After the group stage and the semifinals, only Laos and hosts Bangladesh are left to fight for the prestigious trophy in the grand finale. The curtain on the competition, celebrating Fazilatunnesa Mujib’s life and ideals, will fall on May 3, Friday at the Bangabandhu National Stadium, Dhaka. Honourable President Abdul Hamid has kindly accepted the invitation to be present during the final match and at the following prize giving ceremony on the day. The Laos versus Bangladesh final match will kick-off at 6:00pm on May 3, Friday at the Bangabandhu National Stadium, Dhaka. Fans can get gallery tickets of the match at Taka 50 (each ticket) whereas a ticket of the VIP box will cost them Taka 200.
